Pine to Thunderbird/Seamonkey addressbook converter
1. Your Pine addressbook is located in your home directory as .addressbook
2. Select Pine address book Contact File or enter ~/.addressbook
Specify the file to convert:
Click the upload button.
Save the adbook.ldif file generated which is now suitable for importing to your thunderbird mail client.
5. Open your Thunderbird mail client. Select Tools tab and Import field under it.
6. You will be presented with a dialog which says:
Select the type of material to import:
Select the AddressBooks and click on Next>
7.Select The Text file option with LDIF in the braces and click Next>
8.Select the adbook.ldif file you just saved and your contacts will be imported. Click on Finish to see your imported contacts.
The contacts appear under an addressbook with the same name as the ldif file
containing them (default adbook).
Selecting the addressbook displays all the aliases, including the lists.
Expanding the addressbook shows only the lists in a tree format.
